The deployment inputs you ask for – version, CPU, memory, disk, region – are the API your developers rely on.

Why am I making an RSS reader? I don't know. There are a thousand RSS readers out there already, and they all read RSS feeds, but none of them work the way I'd like them to. So I'm making my own. It'...

I wrote about Oura's security and privacy practices earlier this year for this.weekinsecurity.com, and found:

• Oura rings *don't* end-to-end encrypt users' health data;
• Oura *can* access its users' data;
• Oura told me that the company *has* received U.S. government demands for users' data.

🚀 We just shipped v0.212!

We built the Settings UI to make tweaking Zed easy, but pointing others to a specific setting has been a remaining friction point.
Now you can copy deep links from Settings—share one and it opens directly to that setting.

The story so far: I took V_complexity (see yesterday's blog post) and found a V_perpendicular, then I rented an H200 and did 40,000 inference passes. For each output I computed Flesch-Kincaid grade level. This plots grade level as a function of V_c and V_p. I can't stop looking at it.

Today's blog topic is the linear representation hypothesis, and how it can be used to control a model's output at inference time. We ended up finding a way to control for Flesch-Kincaid grade level ± 1.09 grade levels, which is pretty good!
