Someone remake “It’s a Wonderful Life” but Mr. Potter believes that hoarding is morally required so he can devote resources to delivering a far future with trillions of humans while George Bailey is like, “Gosh Darnit! What if taking care of people today is what takes care of people in the future?!”

I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.

One of the biggest drivers of high housing costs is that a small, highly motivated group of incumbent homeowners block new housing in their neighborhoods and almost no one is organized to push back.

Young people bear the brunt of that imbalance.

I just got my hair cut by a woman who has us all beat. She owns the shop but she also works two hours a week bussing at a fancy hotel restaurant so she can get employee deals at fancy hotels.

And two days a week she slings bags for Delta so she can fly wherever she wants for free.

I have two friends who are ex Mormons and they are the best of all of my friends at reaching out to hang out or do something together /and/ they almost never flake and I need this to be studied.
