I agree with this. Defiant, persistent, obstinate, and kind actions, service, mutual aid.
It's not the stuff that history books record or talk about, but everyday people can still just say "no" and in many ways, quietly defy cruelty.

Been thinking about this a lot (not tagging the sender, for their privacy). Most of us won't have the chance for for grand, capital-R Resistance heroics. But every one of us will have a thousand small choices to make about how to live our lives and where to draw lines. Use them well.

I'm working on a long term project that probably won't see the light here for a few weeks at minimum.
Also, y'all really need to chill. I don't mean you should bury your head in the sand, but find ways that you can chill. Process your pain and move forward with intention.

I am still alive! But also still recovering from surgery and trying to figure out for myself what being active on here looks like.

Something I wasn’t prepared for is how much *audacity* it takes to be an author—or even an artist—in publishing. You gotta be ready to pitch yourself to anyone at any time, arrange & set up your own events, build your own hype, all while burying your insecurities. It’s a shockingly extroverted job.

Didn't post this here, but I was supposed to be getting surgery last week. Unfortunately, the hospital had an emergency case come in, and my surgery got pushed back two weeks, so while I am working on things, my life feels like it got shaken up a lot and I'm still trying to recover.

Yesterday was a lot. Made some cord out of a chain stitch to learn Chinese Knotting. Went to Joann's to find cord because I didn't know where else to go, but all they had was 4 items, all in depression core colors.
So, I learned how to make my own rope! Made 14.5ft of it!

Thank you for all the kindness on my first post here yesterday, it made a dull grey day a bit brighter 💚 here is another aerial embroidery from earlier this year that I also love - 'In the winter garden', a rare garden landscape I've sewn! The design was made up by me :)

I finished the crop top pattern yesterday! I got the measurements totally wrong, though, and ended up with something roughly the 3rd of the size I wanted. Planning on making another one (with the cabling mistake mirrored), to turn into more of a knit bikini style top.

As part of my current Godot project, I've been working on a replacement for Controls that is vastly more flexible & powerful. (Iteration on work I tweeted about a month ago)
What should I do with this? If I took the time to asset-ify it and put it on itch as pay-what-you-want, would anyone chip in?
