I just hope that the terrible bombing finally stops, and that the U.N. can get mega quantities of aid into Gaza for the Palestinian people, and that all of the hostages are released, and can return to their families. 🕊️

I think that their system of government makes it hard to remove a sitting President. Under the Westminster system of government, he would have been removed by his own party for an obvious multitude of dysfunctional behaviours. 🙏

The big lie can only survive for so long, eventually it is consumed by the harsh reality that it has created. Once the majority of people who have been forced to live that reality decide to unite, then the momentum is over powering, and the lie collapses, and in East Germany's case so did the Wall.

Maurits Cornelis (M.C.) Escher,
Dutch Graphic Artist,
(1898~1972).

Relativity (1953)
Relativity is one of Escher's most striking works, showcasing a complex network of staircases and architectural elements that defy gravity and challenge the viewer's perception of space. The work is a prime example of Escher's mastery of impossible constructions, seamlessly weaving together various perspectives to create a mind-bending visual puzzle.

The Emigrants, (Utvandrarna)
is a (1971) Swedish film, directed and co-written by Jan Troell, starring Liv Ullmann and Max von Sydow. 🎬🌟
A black and white photo of Karl Oskar Nilsson (Max von Sydow) and his wife Kristina Nilsson (Liv Ullmann), and their three children sailing to New York City on board the wooden Brig (a two-masted sailing ship with square sails on both masts), called the Charlotta.

The Emigrants (Swedish: Utvandrarna) is a 1971 Swedish drama film directed and co-written by Jan Troell, and starring Max von Sydow, Liv Ullmann, Eddie Axberg, Allan Edwall, Monica Zetterlund, and Pierre Lindstedt. It and its 1972 sequel, The New Land (Nybyggarna), which were produced concurrently, are based on Vilhelm Moberg's The Emigrants, a series of novels about poor Swedes who emigrate from Småland, Sweden, in the mid-19th century and make their home in Minnesota. This film adapts the first two of the four novels (The Emigrants (1949) and Unto a Good Land (1952)), which depict the hardships the emigrants experience in Sweden and on their journey to America.
