This week, OpenAI announced a push into K-12 education. Fortunately, Emily Bender (The AI Con) is here to tell us the truth -- chatbots are antithetical to learning.

Here's her new piece in The Chronicle of Higher Education. (paywalled) #AI #AICon #OpenAI #education

Vince Gilligan hates AI. To get the point across, he included the following note in the #Pluribus show credits: “This show was made by humans.”

“I hate AI. AI is the world’s most expensive and energy-intensive plagiarism machine,” said the creator and showrunner for #BreakingBad and #BetterCallSaul

Grammarly now asks premium users to use the "humanize" feature on AI text. That way, you can still get text labeled "typed by a human" in their Authorship report.

Very unethical way to tell people to cheat with Grammarly.

ProcessFeedback.org doesn't have this conflict of interest.
