As we face ongoing risk of death from a society that still largely DGAF about us living or call us mentally ill despite so many receipts. That too, during *this*.

After losing our work and/or life passions, too, and told to "just stay at home then." And forego health needs, jobs, etc.

And we are told this by all sides of politics, all walks of life. Even within the disability community, at times, or the all too common *crickets*.

A group who might have a good understanding is those of us taking the ongoing pandemic seriously due to disability or other very valid health concerns. Because we are mocked, ridiculed, ostracized and harassed by our friends, family, and health care workers regularly for six years now risking death.

No, Dan, it's just a weak sauce vibe coded reservation app ffs. Get ahold of your "powerful" llm, dude, and teach it some new synonyms. The only thing that's powerful are the grids being run to fuel that so called "powerful" shit.

You can be professional without being corporate. Bring your actual vocab, reactions, honest confusion when something doesn't make sense. Write your own stuff, which is more engaging than polish (which is what gen ai will do - focus on collab instead of replace with the tools). Be... human.

Your awkward moments on camera are often what make people trust you. We connect with hesitation, with "um" and "let me rethink that" or whatever. Perfection creates distance, and it's what AI will be doing and we just don't want to try and out compete... that stuff.

yes!! On my end I think it has to do with having the structure of the performance vs the chaos/difficulty of the social dynamics- I never kinda know what to do in chaos, but on stage (camera) I do... which also feels much more "me" - it's hard to explain! Always felt more myself/confident on stage!
