It's crazy to think that there are politicians involved in politics today who actively hate the people who voted for them. I guess if you keep pushing to enrich yourself, as long as you aren't there at the end holding the bag of angry people, I suppose you win?

Trump is a firm believer that everything is a zero-sum game, so I am not sure what he expected to happen here. This doesn't end with the US winning anything here, this ends with the US being excluded from a lot of trade and people in the US paying a lot more for everything.
This seems like political bias turned into toxic abuse of power going on here. This does not surprise me but it does anger me because they are supposed to represent the entire country, not just red states. How can they be reminded of this fact?

It's hard to believe that America was clamoring for a leader to remake America in his image with very little nuance and so much hate. I hope if America can get through this we do something to put a little bit more checks and balances into our system of government to protect it from mad men like this
