There is no question a man outside a car was hit here. There were also cars hit. I am not clear what precipitated it or how it unfolded but my driver saw cars speeding around the blocked lane (which you say would simply never happen?) and at least a car at the wash sped up.

They apparently made it. Was a car wash worker. There's a story in the Daily News.

I appreciate tennis. I like going live when I can. Was fully into it with Serena and Venus but haven't followed as closely since then. I got to see Venus in a small gym in DC and Serena when she won the Open. Incredible.

Hal is really a special flavor of frustrating though. We had something great and he took it from us.

I love Aaron Judge. I am planning to see him at spring training as I'll be down there for family. I'll maybe go later if he's flirting with 60 but otherwise this team is just not fun for me now.

This is like Steinbrenner/Cashman logic. It's not about winning the division. They're not even close to competitive with Blue Jays and obviously LA. Braves are gonna be tough too.

I wouldnt have wanted the Yankees to give up prospects for that kind of rental. Imai was the obvious move. That plus Weathers and either gaining (or just not losing) relievers would have been a solid offseason for pitching.

They've been middling for a while but this year is shaping up as something else.

I still don't see the Mets being nearly good enough to compete but at least they're trying. It must be nice to have owners that don't aim for mediocrity while gaslighting fans.
