Why be angry about hearing about Mamdani rather than Marco Rubio or Stephen Miller? Most of us wish we could ignore the USA but that's not how things work.

I'm not wildly enthusiastic but given that they're popular, the only national party with rational priorities, and they're actually opposing fascism, I reckon they're easily the best option (in England anyway). I'll vote for them at least. Polanski's pretty good.
