Due to a recent post by Mark Hamill, it dawned on me why Luke Skywalker resonated so strongly with my childhood self. The hero who showed from his most humble origins that a man can be consumed with justice, wanting what is right, what is virtuous and what is noble- a society of compassion.

If we are comfortable with the idea of giving politicians carte blanche to accept money, are we aware of the obvious and most likely scenario: that the politician backed by the most billionaires will always prevail? How does this translate to the impoverished, who seek a fairer and safer life?
