The patch for MKL is live on Switch! The lag is improved (not perfect much much better) and the game feels much better!
Here’s to more fixes and online lobbies and this could rapidly become the ultimate fighting game!

Patch 1.0.3 for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection on Nintendo Switch 2 is now live and includes a number of fixes and improvements to bring this version to parity with other platforms.

Here we are nearly at the 3 week mark and no update for Switch 2 Mortal Kombat Legacy in sight.
That’s very unlike @digitaleclipse.bsky.social as I’ve thoroughly enjoyed their other collections (Atari, Tetris) and the Atari one even got a surprise Pac-Man addition last week!

Frankenstein is my favorite novel of all time. So it’s with a heavy heart that I say… 1000+ films and we are yet to have an accurate adaptation. Del Toro’s film is wonderful and I’m hoping it gets special disc treatment but it changes too much in both story and theme to be considered book accurate.

That said, I’d rather a game be delayed than come out in a buggy unfinished state like I feel the recent Mortal Kombat Legacy did.
To their credit, MKL’s developer is planning patches already. They’re a great company so I doubt the rushed release was all on them.

Ok. Since Borderlands 4 and Mina the Hollower are delayed (and it’s on sale), I gave in and got Dave the Diver. Let’s see if this lives up to all the hype.

I wasn’t sure IT needed a prequel but Welcome to Derry is bangin’ it up so far! Great show!

Pokemon Legends Z-A - my thoughts at 20 play hours.
Pros:
- Refreshing new battle system
- Nice graphics for a Pokemon game
- Core gameplay is still fun
- Interesting story
Cons:
- No voice acting
- Small (mostly) uninteresting map
- Price (feels like a $40 game to me)

@fantasyflightgames.bsky.social What’s the official word on Marvel Champions? I got very into it this year to find a couple great sets were out of print. Now your site says like 50% of the stuff is out of print. Is this game dying just as I’m getting into it? Please say reboots/reworks are coming!

So that Nintendo Direct made me think that buying a Switch 2 might’ve been mostly a waste. No good new exclusives. Most of the old games releasing are on OG Switch anyway. In an hour presentation, only the Resident Evil and MK Legacy announcements even made my radar.

Well… I guess any debate about the #crackerbarrel logo is done. The company’s announced its switching back to the previous logo with the old man and a barrel after online backlash.

I’m not offended that they removed the old man from the #crackerbarrel logo but I do dislike that what they replaced it with is bland corporate uniformity. It’s just like the modern Taco Bell and others. Bland and dull. Uniqueness is being killed by capitalism.

Why are people saying the old man on the Cracker Barrel logo was “the cracker”? Thats not why the store is called Cracker Barrel! Sheesh! It has nothing to do with a racial slur! It’s literally named after the barrels that soda crackers used to come in and that people used as tables. #crackerbarrel
