man these are my favourite kind of youtuber, theyre the ones i watch the most and feel the least soul sucking- less than 5000 subscribers and making very mundane videos with minimal if any editing. do you like this guy, is he any good?

i hope one day i will find something that makes me feel, again. it came so readily to me in the past, im sure it’ll happen again. i’m just glad that i still believe it’ll happen, that art that will shake me to my core is waiting around any corner, any minute now

it’s been what feels like years at this point that i’ve read any book or watched any film or saw any illustration that really made me feel anything at all beyond a bland sort of approval, but i Have experienced moving art in the past and thats enough for me to still be unquestioningly devoted to art

you know, i’m glad that, despite how long it’s been since ive experienced art that’s moved me in any way, i am still devoted to arts capacity and it’s worth in one’s life

especially in old games, for all their quirks, but i tbh think friction is what i value most in art. constraints are the only thing that make it fun- it doesn’t even matter what the constraints are, there just has to be edges to the game-board.
