It's just funny how differently things are playing out since I'm at the end of the 2nd stratum in both 2 Untold and 3. My party in 3 is a bit jank but it's not something forced onto me so it feels infinitely better. I'm curious how the story party in 1 Untold compares to 2's

I'm trying to play through 2 Untold on expert again and the story party just sucks so much. Chloe feels completely useless outside of her force since I just cannot land anything. The bosses have such insane hp bloat making things even worse.

Apparently auto play just does that now. I have no idea how auto play turned on, but that's really annoying

Another smaller thing is that the dungeons got more and more simple after the desert planet. It felt like the game just completely ran out of steam and stopped trying anything for the last third of them game. The final dungeon ended up being a couple combat rooms and the final boss.

Excavations were a massive downgrade from the previous games. Instead of having new gimmicks for each planet you just get generic cubes that all work the same way. Sometimes the cubes would have minerals in them making it a waste of time.

Spectrobes Origins
Had this game for years but never finished it. I think most of my issues with the game would be fixed by it just not being a Wii game. The motion controls were really clunky and made combat unnecessarily hard at times, compounded by not having a way to heal spectrobes.
