Hyperfixates on hobbies and local things. Loyal but anxious. You can either find me inside making sourdough/reading/crafting or outside walking/biking and calling out infrastructure failures. Walking on IG as speedhumpme
Today was the rare day when I swear the roads were mostly better in north city than south city. Mostly. Me and Palm had some words.

They couldn’t even keep someone on hand to write letters of recommendation and I’m supposed to believe there’s someone on hand to plan the redesign?

Missed opportunity! Some people would sell their souls for apple fritters closer to home.

That's exactly what I was wondering...followed by wondering why they would refuse to acknowledge it.

I need a button that says “thank you for informing me, but I greatly dislike the BOA’s inability to prepare for scheduled meetings in a way that brings transparency to the process” so assume my like translates to that, and not an endorsement of the BOA

They can't credibly push back saying "it's not cancelled, it's just paused for 8-12 months," after they fire all the staff running the program, send letters to the kids saying they are "no longer needed", and refuse to speak on a vision for the future of the program. That is an absurd thing to say.

It’s a bright spot for sure

I don’t know the answers but I know our city isn’t asking the right questions yet and too many residents have no idea what’s happening outside their own street. The people who live here deserve better than this.

What infrastructure do we invest in? Do we abandon the people who just moved in, rebuilt a roof, planted a front garden? Do we just put all the city dumped tires here because we have no other place for them? Does the city even know it looks like this, because they ignore the CSB reports here.

The sidewalks are essentially non-existent except in front of the three homes. The road is slowly slipping away. The blocks here have more tires than people. And this is not in the tornado zone of St. Louis. This is just our usual neglect.

But have you ever looked at the Roman numerals and seen what they’re trying to reveal to those with eyes to see?????

Oh no, the algorithm got me
