Book club reading is Mark Twain by Ron Chernow. (End of Ch 20)

It's fascinating because of the pre/post Civil War - Reconstruction, he's kind of a Forest Gump type of person in the mix of a lot of different places and things. I wish I had read his writing before starting though.

This seems more helpful when considering plans to pry loved ones away from Trumpism. Only on chapter 4 so maybe I'm being overly optimistic.

Finished Surviving Autocracy by Masha Gesson and it seems quaint.

Makes me feel like the country really missed an opportunity by waiting 18 months to appoint Jack Smith and not putting Trump in jail to await trial.
