Jack the tuxie cat just might be the motivation that gets the baby crawling. They are both so curious about each other, but Jack is so skittish when the little guy gets excited and starts flailing.

Jack is waiting as patiently as he can for the baby to stop crying, fall asleep and for me to get in bed so he can have some cuddle time, too

I wanted to put a more interesting border, like puffs or bullions, but I got about 6 in, didn't like how they felt and didn't look quite right either, so I'm sticking with the nice, simple SC as the finisher.
It's been a little over 2 years to complete this, covers to top of a queen size bed.

Visited a friend and met their new kitty. He's a shy one and the fact that he came up and snuck up behind us says that his curiosity is stronger than his skittishness.

We went on a weekend trip where I had a work trip right after and was not returning home in between. My partner picked up the cat from the boarder, but as you can see, kitty was still wondering where I was as he sits under my desk.

Not as pretty as the butterfly, but similar idea of compositing images together and tweaking with filters to try to come up with a semi-abstract way of recording the things that accumulated and lead to my mini breakdown.

My banner picture is something I made just for BSS. No real meaning inherent to me, but a marker of what was happening at the time I happened to create the account. It's a butterfly, a swirl/ripple and some water drop bc where expecting the hurricane (which ended up being nbd here.)
