I’ve always appreciated Wuthering Heights (the song) because of Kate Bush’s comfortable high register.

This morning I discovered how it is a masterpiece in other ways. Unusually, she uses chromatic mediant chord progressions. Then in the chorus she mixes up the time signature with half bars.
