Realizing that this has been 1. The first holiday season in 10 years haven’t had to drum up joy for someone’s sake and 2. This is the first time I’ve had actual time off during the holidays in ever has been something. Really something. It’s awesome.

I was gifted some generous gift cards from my babies (their parents but they were all sweet & said their baby picked chose it, ah, teacher life) so I was able to get myself a few gifts. New markers for my coloring books, a scrub daddy mop, & a couple of Mini brands garden & books capsules! Fun!!

Starting to cultivate my own holiday traditions. Christmas Eve homemade pizza and “The Family Stone”. I’ve really been loving holiday movies this year. They’ve helped keep me sane, I think.

There is still real kindness in the world. Today, I did some food shopping at the new Aldi that’s kinda close to me and a stranger lady came up to me and gave me a $10 coupon! Incredible! Keeping an eye out to pass that kindness this week. TPWK for real yall. 🫶🏻
