Why I hate the whole moving to other platform after something happens. Having to start over is fucking painful, and I’m sick of doing it over and over again.

However, I never leave any platform.. not even Twitter. Never keep all your eggs in one basket.

This right here. I love my art friends and art community, but I'm also trying to run a business as a freelancer/selling products and I need the reach! Every time we scatter to different platforms it's a little harder to exist as a working artist whose primary visibility is only online.

As much as folks might not want to believe it, artists who sell their work cannot survive exclusively on platforms that cater to primarily other artists. The Circulating The Same Five Dollars™️ model can't feed us or pay bills for long. We need places where we can be seen and discovered.

I know the baby takes up a lot of my time, and i need to take comms for extra income with little of said time i have… but still
