Why should we "expect" any job from the country? He is the one setting his own limit by not finishing school or learning a skill that makes him valuable to an employer. Start handing out paychecks like participation trophies, and we won't be one of the wealthiest countries in the world for long.

Not hard in Iowa. And its not as expensive as you think, either.

Applington is Ashley Hinson territory. Steve King was northwest Iowa. Chuck Grassley lives about 20 minutes east of Applington when he's in Iowa.

She didn't lie. She said she was wearing pajamas. She was, in fact, wearing pajamas.

Is this evidence of murder? She took 250 notes home over a span of 4 years, most having nothing to do with the babies she was charged with harming. Nurses do it all the time, but rarely have their homes searched.

You think she only used Facebook on those 4 days? The jury was told she made 2,381 Facebook searches during this time period, only a few of which were of these parents. You see yet how easy it is to get hoodwinked by a prosecutor?

There is just as much evidence of medical malpractice as there is a serial killing nurse.

The unit she worked on supposedly had a serial killer nurse making the rounds, and they could only pin half the deaths that took place on her. Maybe you should rethink the validity of that claim.

Do you not see the contradictory nature of both insisting the lengthy trial is evidence of her guilt, and the fact that she cut it short by not calling her own experts to testify is also evidence of her guilt?

She name searched thousands of people on Facebook. It's typical behavior for people that came of age with social media.

The American founders organized a resistance against government abuse. There were a few isolated instances of rogues using violence against King George's agents, but the bulk of the work was done by a unified resistance effort operating within a legal framework. How to build such a resistance today?
November 1, 2025 at 1:10 PM
What do you think needs to happen before violence is justifiably encouraged? A Supreme Court ruling that sanctions these actions? Trump's opposition losing the midterms? Or do you believe that violence is never warranted? These are serious times that require honest consideration.

One of the appeals of Joe Biden was that he would restore some normalcy to Washington in the wake of Donald Trump, and that he would only serve 1 term.

Russia has not contributed to improving humanity in any way scientifically, culturally, or technologically for the past 50+ years, yet they insist on being treated as some great power.

If Trump wants to pave over Old Faithful to build a golf course in Yellowstone National Park, should he be able to make it happen by soliciting funds from his donors, or should that require some act of Congress? Why is the White House any different?

It is true, and it was brought up at the trial.

Even if it was explained, incorporating magic technology is not really science fiction. Warp drive isn't what makes Star Trek science fiction.

That's not why they're getting cancelled. They are getting cancelled because they aren't getting the subs needed to justify their cost of production.

When you get a job to draw a comic book, how much real creative control do you typically get when working with established characters?
October 13, 2025 at 10:59 PM
They had to find a very absurd reason to turn an episode of Strange New Worlds into a musical. If that doesn't scream "I want to write something other than Star Trek!" then I don't know what to tell you.

He literally hosted the ready room after each episode until recently. You can't expect him to come out and say "nobody involved knows or cares anything about Star Trek" when that was his job.
