What has Yvette Cooper’s proscription of Palestine Action done to this country?

Beyond absurd. It’s extreme authoritarianism. These police should be arresting rapists & crooks, not neglecting those duties to spend time arresting citizens standing against genocide.

It undermines police and the law.

Spot on from Olga Rudenko: "Russia could end the war in Ukraine at any moment by stopping its attacks and withdrawing its forces. By simply going home. Mr. Putin could end it with a phone call."

This is the side of Mimas they don't want you to see (the side without Herschel, the massive crater that makes it look like the Death Star)
The "back side" of Mimas without the massive crater is, well, covered in much smaller craters that pockmark the surface. There's no additional geology to be observed, just endless craters.

The University of Warwick has paid a lot of money, I'm guessing, for their internet banner ads on the Guardian and elsewhere.

But they can't spell "curiosity". This isn't a US-UK variant. They just, genuinely, have a massive spelling error in their banner ads.
A banner advert for the University of Warwick, which says "Beyond ignores curiousity". This is a spelling error.

From #TheLancet: Despite Secretary #RFK Robert F Kennedy Jr's calls for “radical transparency”, unlogged #data manipulation - mainly substituting "sex" for "gender" is happening big time. Changes are not being made transparently www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...
Data manipulation within the US Federal Government
A US Department of Veterans Affairs dataset compiling veteran health-care use in 2021 was quietly amended on March 5, 2025. A column titled gender was renamed sex, and the words were also switched in ...

Wonder what the current legal definition of "support" is. Is criticism of the banning of #PalestineAction support? [asking for a friend]

I’ve read The Invisible Doctrine by @georgemonbiot.bsky.social and it was an eye opener. It’s helped me understand why politics transfer wealth.

Now it’s on film and you can view it, from a few places including Apple TV - but here’s the link to the YouTube offer

Would a human born and raised on a nearby planet count? How about a Belter or one of the kids from Jupiter's moons?
And don't get me started on posthuman time travellers or interdimensional hominids...
