To all those who have shared my journey this past year, commented on my posts (with the exception of the hard of thinking, whom I typically block), brightened my day, or caused me to reflect on my original point of view, may your 2026 be both happy and prosperous.

Wishing all my Bluesky followers - and those yet to come on board - a very Merry Christmas and a hopeful New Year.

I’m sick to death of Badenoch and her confected anger in pursuit of political integrity. This is the woman who HACKED an opposition MP’s website, not to mention LYING about being offered a scholarship at Columbia University. Less a Party leader, more a shouty, shallow gob on a stick.

Reading this on the run up to the budget from the frog-faced, fascist fraud - ‘There is no doubt now that Rachel Reeves did deliberately mislead the country…’ Whether or not that’s true, and I very much doubt it, it’s baffling he’s not challenged on Brexit where he really did mislead the country.

Well, well. Just watching BBC News and Keir Starmer giving its shitweasel Political Editor, Chris Mason, an absolute schooling. It’s been a long time coming but definitely worth the wait.

Ah - the slimy Greg Swenson pops up on #politicslive The living embodiment of the word oleaginous. Why bother inviting him on the programme when his tongue is so far up Trump’s arse all you’re gonna get is useless platitudes.
November 24, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Well, fuck me sideways. Farage farts again and, guess what, BBC #politicslive invites his sock puppet to spout more Reform bullshit. When will they ever learn!
November 18, 2025 at 12:20 PM
I’ve always been very harsh in my view of Rebecca Long-Bailey even comparing her to a Cabbage Patch Doll. But on #politicslive today the articulation of her views on asylum seekers deserves respect. Balanced, considered, compassionate & with a grasp of the issues many others care not to understand.
November 17, 2025 at 12:52 PM
Very strange bloke called Tim Montgomerie on #politicslive today who seems to have trouble controlling his head.
November 13, 2025 at 12:33 PM
Hmm - Sultana’s actions and intransigence scream ‘Your Party, but My Money’. If they can’t trust each other, how the hell can the electorate trust them?
November 10, 2025 at 5:49 PM
Just reading that SNP leader John Swinney has said that BBC board member Robbie Gibb’s position is ‘untenable’. While I completely agree some might say this is a rash judgement.
November 10, 2025 at 3:46 PM
Just reading that Michael Gove has pronounced that David Lammy ‘doesn’t command confidence’. Who the hell cares what this serial lying creep thinks and why the hell is any news source with an iota of credibility seeking his opinion anyway. He’s done, he’s history, and his opinion is worth fuck all.

Every episode of BBC News at One now seems to include a piece of puffery for a forthcoming BBC programme. This is not news, it's blatant promotion. Surely it's also in breach of broadcasting regulations.

In a severe blow to the Reform, Tory & MSM anti-immigration and borderline racist agendas, not only was the perpetrator of the Huntingdon stabbings British born, the hero rail worker, still in intensive care, who saved so many lives, is named as Samir Zitouni. May Sam, as he’s known, be better soon.
November 4, 2025 at 12:38 PM
Excuse my language but Zia Yusuf, the frog-faced facist fraud’s sock puppet, just fuck off!
November 3, 2025 at 12:36 PM
Fuck me sideways, as anticipated BBC #politicslive leads on the Rachel Reeves non story, even dragging Henry Zeffman into the studio for extra smugness. As for Mims Davies, desperately conflating the transgression with her take on budget tax rises, God help us all. Bias & stupidity in equal measure.

What has it come to when the UK Shadow Home Secretary, yes that's the SHADOW HOME SECRETARY - the braying donkey Chris Gulp - refuses to condemn the vile Pochin woman for her racist language. It's not just that standards in politics have slipped, some MPs are utterly unfit for public life. Get rid!
October 26, 2025 at 12:09 PM
Dipping into #politicslive before PMQs I’ve noticed a malevolent goblin sitting on the sofa who, it turns out, is today’s Reform representative. Why is it that everyone we see from Reform has a deranged look about them? Maybe it’s reflective of who they really are.

I'm 100% with Pat on this. And I'm sure I'm not alone.

@safety.bsky.app @bsky.app Please read this response to a well informed opinion. I have reported this vile individual, but I also want to ensure you have seen the post to which I’m referring.
October 19, 2025 at 1:07 PM
@ian-parsley.bsky.social - I really cannot believe you posted such an odious response to a well informed opinion. I have also reported you - lies and misinformation abound, but your vile insults have no place on Bluesky.

I’m reading that Stephen Yaxley-Lennon had 13,000 euros on him when he was stopped by police last July at Eurotunnel…driving his silver Bentley. Tommy Robinson, man of the people. Yeah, right!
October 13, 2025 at 12:32 PM
That's me done with #politicslive From the jaunty intro music, more suited to a quiz show, a set that doesn't work, a lightweight presenter with non of the poise or gravitas of Jo Coburn it's yet another example of BBC dumbing down. The UK's national broadcaster is becoming increasingly irrelevant.
October 8, 2025 at 1:17 PM
#politicslive - Victoria Atkins proving that while she could talk for England she says nothing of substance and is an expert on question avoidance. Citing the ‘integration of Afghans’ as proof that the vile Jenrick is not racist just doesn’t cut it. Last time I looked Afghans don’t have black faces.
