It’s utterly brilliant. I saw it was being broadcast again, but I have the set of DVDs, which I watched again during the Christmas Holiday. They’re also broadcasting Smiley’s People. Again I have the DVDs, which I watched again over New Year. Don’t miss it - they don’t make TV like that anymore.

I’m afraid Ed sees everything in black & white. Biden + Trump signed off on the Chagos Deal, Marco Rubio endorsed it. It’s impossible to legislate for a lunatic who is using the might of the US to harass, threaten and intimidate. Yet because of that might a relationship of sorts must be kept intact.

Indeed he did. But any retaliatory response from the EU nations will be both considered and rational. Macron’s only got a year left as French President so he’s got nothing to lose. But, while I applaud him in wanting to invoke the EU’s ACI, that’s very unlikely. At least for now.
