She received approval for MAiD instead.

This is why we’re scared. Her suffering could be alleviated. Denying palliation but approving death is wrong:

During Hurricane Katrina - disabled patients were left to die and/or euthanized.

We are left behind during natural disasters AND pandemics.

There’s never sufficient public outcry - because too many see us as “better off dead.”

Which is WHY we fear assisted dying policies.
