It was ridiculous. A lot of the crimped & messy wires ended up going to the heater and fan switches, eventually found the ones I needed for the head unit & now it all works! ...except now I found that my automatic antenna doesn't extend and retract itself. traded one problem for another

saab needs 4 new shocks (kind of already guessed that) and bushings for the torsion beam, then should be ready for inspection and registration!!
was worried about a coolant leak but the tank level has stayed put for a few days, and a few hundred kms.

mechanically sound, survived a 2.5hr journey with 0 hiccups. and i smiled the entire way
still need practice finding 3rd, its not quite in the centre of travel but its also closer to 5 than 1

All of these, people had given me really detailed descriptions and had done all the 'ideas' part for me, it was just the execution that I had to do (and one of them is a straight up replica of a real race car)

not a pre facelift, brain is lagging hard. enjoy the incredible 8v sound (ft. horrific wind noise) as compensation
needs some electrical attention before registration (high beams dont work) and will be replacing the cracked dashboard & some plastic trim. otherwise decent condition, no rust either.

abs light on the mazda 🙃
so many brake problems, first my rear right calliper seized, then i had a bolt on the front calliper snap and cause it to free hang, now i'm guessing a wheel speed sensor causing my abs to not work. fun
