After reading one too many picture books about cars, trucks and road widening projects, I started making my own transit indoctrination books for my toddler. But I've also been on the lookout for other picture books that elevate buses and subways.
My favorite? I Am the Subway by Kim Hyo-eun.

Leaving that other app is attractive but it’s not practical. South African X is a kind of connection to home. To gossip. And news. And something of a national mood.

It was always foolish for the left and the right to believe that immigration to the US would uniformly benefit one party. Immigrants bring their own histories and mores, expressed through a variegated politics.
