Got a tiny bit of sun and only light winds this morning as we had our last visit to the City of Arts & Sciences - so got reflections and shadows briefly :)

Sitting in a café in #Valencia - trying to remember to eat and drink today! Hubby is up in the hills over half way through another ultramarathon. This time 2 years ago I was sitting in a cute little cabin in #Iceland during a days-long blizzard. Got this nice award-winning photo out of it though :)

Sometimes I can't quite decide between colour & B&W for a photo. It seems a shame to hide the lovely rich winter browns of the dead leaves & green mossy roots, but the B&W is a bit more atmospheric. So here are two versions; I think I prefer colour.

Discovering another wonderful local woodland this morning - this is Frithsden Beeches (and what a wonderful name too). So many lovely marcescent leaves to give some colour, and of course the fog was much appreciated :)
