Some good #C64 news and some bad. Breadbin C64 had stable RF signal but black picture. Given that old breadbins have broken PLA chips, I got a replacement from the UK.

I think people make 'better' halfshades than just a mechanical ordered dither. Here it does both horizontal lines for shadows on the wall and every fourth pixel for the lute and every second pixel for the tower and the arm. A machine generated pic would probably go for same kind of dither everywhere

sprites, music, measuring cpu with bgcolor, opening the borders, crunching and a lot of concepts around how KickAssembler helps you with lots of tedious things that today would be a job for the linker I guess. After 7.5h worth of "code-along", the 10 attendees arrived at this:

Instead of just looking out the window, one could have a wifi enabled arduino call an api for weather reports and ask about my general location and then post the temperature value on a LED matrix. Or look out.
