Last week, we welcomed 72 sixth form students from seven local schools to Sutton for our annual Careers in Research Evening. 👋

They explored our biology and chemistry labs, joined hands-on demos, and spoke with researchers, students and clinical colleagues about routes into science and healthcare.

to being the first internationally to treat prostate cancer patients with a new, more precise form of radiotherapy in 2000, and recently showing that a simple at-home spit test is more accurate at identifying future risk of prostate cancer for some men.

Men with BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations should get annual #ProstateCancer screening.

The IMPACT trial finds BRCA1 carriers are 3 times more likely to have aggressive prostate cancers than non-carriers.
