If you're an indie creator, I expect the price of your ttrpgs, zines and comics to be higher than what I'd pay a bigger publisher for something similar. This will never stop me buying your cool stuff.

When you go to print your #TTRPG remember that you need to charge at least about 6x the cost to print for sustainability.

Small to midsize publishers can take advantage of scale & you can't.

You are not Wizards, Evil Hat, Exalted Funeral, or Modiphius.

Ideally charge 10x an pay a bill.

Science minded people: A room has one door and no windows. Where do I put the fan, so that convection will help circulate the air out the door to cool it down most efficiently?

I got some writing done! Mainly structure and planning for a larger project, but a few locations and characters. I found an hour and a bit in the park before picking up the kids. A successful day!

Thematically, Orlok is rich, communicate through dreams, and wields power over life and death, grooms children uses DAMA, and blames the gays. He’s a homophobic incel tech billionaire. I love this timely reversal of the usual vampire themes; vampire as fear of queerness old.

Blasted ✅. Thoughts about Nosferatu: It’s shot beautiful, and creepy as hell. The script was distracting and felt more a play than a movie. Half the cast knew they were in a play, and the other half didn’t. The soundtrack couldn’t have been more dull.

I like the complexity. There’s more game here. Infusions make everything more complex, though. But I haven’t figured out how to make Hermes work for me at all yet.

Hahaha I think it’s just time. I got cursed with Hera this run, but I realised that I need to put her condition on the special, because you can usually lock anyone but bosses in your attack once amour is broken, and it helps break armour from a distance.

I just can’t consistently dodge the rail. I haven’t progressed the unrivalled fight with her because I feel like I’m barely capable. But right now my build is for max health, and I think for unrivalled I need to build for choice of boon. And I’m gutless.

Enjoying Nosferatu, but I’m not getting much writing done. It is so very shot by a camera. I’m used to shot for streaming drizzle that I can simply half-watch.

I was not well positioned to beat him today — Prometheus ate up my Death Defiance and I got a rubbish loadout — but I found my rhythm with Typhon for the first time, just now. But I’m not spending my day on Hades. I must write! And watch horror!

I haven’t defeated Typhon yet; I pretty consistently beat Prometheus to the point I forgot that I had him to defeat before I got to Typhon. Honestly I find Eris to be more challenging.

Turns out I had to defeat Prometheus first, and he really got me on the ropes. Disappointing. I’ll struggle on though.
