St Paul's Cathedral at the Reflection Garden.

While here, we witnessed some influencer being proposed to. I was asked to record some behind the scenes footage - which I did.

Was it a real proposal? Fake? The guy did look genuinely nervous which makes me think it might have been real..

Crowley posing for snacks 🐦‍⬛

While they will eat from my hand, they aren't a huge fan of me pointing the camera at them, this was at ~250mm from a few meters away.

Want to get them used to it so I can get my ultra sharp 80mm macro close enough. One day..

Sylvan, Koh Chang.

Going back through some older photos and feeling sad I'm not in a tropical paradise.

Need to go back as somehow I didn't get round to using the funicular railway here 🤓

Last of the bluebells, Stanmer Woods. Good show this year.

Failed to get up early enough when they were at their peak to get the kind of photos I wanted. Next year!

Stanmer Woods looking beautiful in the early morning sun.

Still learning how to use the Viltrox 13mm, I can see it’s a great lens - the sharpness, colours, and constant are incredible.. but it does require a lot more thought before taking a photo - something I’m not great at.

Test shots from the ultra wide. Going to be a tricky one to get used to! If you’ve got any tips for a 13mm let me know..

Latest in my series of “All the gear, no idea” 🤩

Ultra wide angle Viltrox 13mm f/1.4 for my X-T5. Mainly for use in Wales later this year 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 .. but need to figure out how to use an ultra wide properly.

Light, sharp, fast, cheap, and most importantly a nice red badge on it. What more could you want?

Few more from Stanmer Woods today. One of my favourite local places for a walk and connect with nature.

While the valley with One Garden and Stanmer House in is really nice, the more interesting stuff is up on the hills in the woods.

Up before dawn, over to Stanmer Woods to check out the bluebells.

The best ones I found were in what3words: twice.cubes.fluid, parking at Chalk Hill car park would be best, probably 15 mins walk through the woods.

Some Brighton snaps from last night.

I’m sure taking my camera with me on a night out will end in disaster one day, but until then I’ll continue doing it..

Good idiots @the_well_brighton. Great new(?) bar.

Enjoying the ACROS sim, and the @gregwilliamsphotography course. Always more to learn.

Looking out to sea from Shoreham Harbour.

More ACROS. B&W seems to focus on light and form in a way I’m not used to. Perhaps useful in developing my eye? Probably obvious to anyone who’s studied photography and art, I haven’t, I’ve just been making it up as I go along.

Been doing a short photography skills course by @gregwilliamsphotography, while on the section on lighting I looked up and saw Rio basking in the sun, and the shadow he was casting on the sofa. Haven’t really explored black & white, and love Greg’s work, so thought I’d try the ACROS sim.
