Last month we hosted the Government Leaders in Action Annual Retreat across the DMV

It was all about trust, courage, & co-creating racial equity strategies.
Questions we explored:

What does reparations really mean? According to the UN, reparations are more than a payment. They’re about truth, justice, acknowledgment, and repair.

Our panel featuring iF Co-CEO Temi F. Bennett, Greater Washington Community Foundation President & CEO Tonia Wellons, and Storytelling for Good CEO Kerry-Ann Hamilton was a powerful and impactful conversation on repair, justice, and what it will take to close the Black wealth gap in DC.

We had a packed house at iF’s screening of “Diminished Returns: The Black Wealth Gap in Washington, D.C.” at the 23rd Annual Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival!
