I can’t imagine how terrible Utah’s schools are going to be for my kids with IEPs if there’s no DoE to enforce the IDEA

My kid’s German teacher complimented his essay (written auf Deutsch). Which is nice to hear bc I worked hard on that thing.

One of our weekend traditions is my 1st grader and I go to our neighborhood coffee shop for breakfast. There’s a sweet grandpa with a thick European accent who comes up to my kid and asks if he’s been good this week, and then gives him a dollar bill.
