Saw Adrianne Lenker in Toronto last night - wonderful show, one of the best songwriters writing today. The crowd mostly much younger, and such a sad, strong yearning among them. Beautiful, but I left feeling we have failed this generation in some fundamental ways. They deserve so much more.
