Last week I was involved in two webinars outlining my PhD project and sharing my experience of applying for and being awarded funding by Pharmacy Research UK and so I thought it was about time I shared a bit more about it with BlueSky #pharmsky #medsky #PsychSci (1/5)
A presentation slide: grey background, top left is the logo for the University of Bristol, top right is the logo for the charity Pharmacy Research UK. The text in the centre of the slide reads: Sarah Jones, Phd student (part time) at Bristol Medical School Centre for Academic Primary Care. Efficacy of usual care to support safe antidepressant withdrawal in English GP practices. My project and the experience of applying to the PRUK scheme. sarah.c.jones@bristol.ac.uk

Some find little changes when they stop “meds” — others experience withdrawal symptoms, often severe or long lasting. Mental health services should support *safe* withdrawal from psychiatric drugs.
