If their stupid electoral college pact had been in effect, Trump would have gotten 521 electoral votes. The only states Harris would have gotten are Virginia and New Hampshire because thus far they haven't been dumb enough to sign their electoral votes away.

It's worth noting that the reason that Trump was able to win the *popular* vote as well as the electoral college is blue states.
There was massive "my state is safe so I can fuck around" in the blue states. Harris won New Jersey in 2024 by only the same margin that Obama won *Ohio* by in 2008.

He even became the first Republican to win the popular vote in 20 years and the first non-incumbent one in 36 years. If you count a VP as an incumbent you have to go back 44 years.
