We’re a proud partner in the DISCERN project, which aims to discover the causes of three poorly understood cancers in Europe including kidney cancer. This European project aims to combine health data from almost 900,000 people across Europe, drawn from 16 long-term population studies.

Clinical trials look at new ways to prevent, detect, or treat disease to advance kidney cancer care. Participating in a clinical trial can be a way to access a new or otherwise unavailable treatment. (1/2)

When asked about barriers to treatment, 55% of Global Patient Survey respondents said they experienced a barrier that affected their treatment. The most common barriers cited were cost of treatment (23%) and waiting times for treatment (22%). (1/3)
