Belated #SFINCS Round 1 review for The Devil Owns Primetime by Sirius .: beforewegoblog.com/sfincs-revie...

Devil wasn't one of my initial books, but I picked it up on recommendation from a teammate. I'm so glad I did (it had been on my TBR before the contest, but this gave me the nudge)! #SFINCS3

The SPFBO has opened its doors!

You have about 21 hours left to put your self-published fantasy book in the hat.

Meanwhile, I’m attempting a different route to the top 🙂

One of the books in my scout pile for #spsfc5 was impossible for me to put down at the 25% mark, so I finished it. I loved Breakwater by Vivian Wilderbridge! I hope more people discover it 🤩

I.K. Stokbaek's review of Breakwater
5/5: This book has heavy themes of climate change, motherhood, vulnerability, and resilience. It’s set in 2041 Florida, and rising seas are eating away at the peninsula. A realistic disaster happening...

With four places announced out of six, the fourth #SPSFC is faced with the dilemma of what to announce next.

By a margin of just 0.392, second place goes to "action packed" On Impulse by Heather Texle, led by migraine-afflicted ex-space cop Reliance Sinclair.
