i feel like taylor swift learned (correctly) that her allusions to literature and pop culture don’t have to have essentially any substance for people to worship her over it and it seems like the result of that has been sort of sub-good

ppl need to understand that the real or imagined fear of violence against women has been used as a political instrument to attack The Other since time immemorial

like. i respect that it’s someone’s personal experience but in what way is it not just age-old anti-LGBT rhetoric that LGBT is a bourgeois frivolity divorced from “real-world” issues

speaking my truth i do not like that tweet that’s like “im probably nonbinary but i have a job so idrc”
like. i respect that it’s someone’s personal experience but in what way is it not just age-old anti-LGBT rhetoric that LGBT is a bourgeois frivolity divorced from “real-world” issues

boy by fletcher is sort of tremendously embarrassing and audacious but tbh if she sold the song to a queer male artist it could have BOTH been a good pride song and she could’ve got her message across
