surely u can tell with some of the modern 'celebrities' that it is a bad thing!
January 16, 2026 at 10:21 PM
how can you fit "for thirty one years" into the song though? joking aside, one of my mates said that he'd never seen fans leaving half way through a pen shootout before until i reminded him that we were all half way down the stairs at wembley in the charity shield before the end of that shootout!

i am a primary school teacher and lots of schools - primary and secondary - are leaving in their droves. it was a great way to interact with parents and show what the kids are doing a few years ago but now it's just horrible.
January 9, 2026 at 9:53 PM
well said stan. left there last year and, although i miss chatting with mates and the footy gossip and news from good journos, the bad - and what bad it is - far outweighs the good. it's much better mentally to leave it. hopefully more like urself will follow suit after this week 👍

kerkez has been decent/good for weeks now. outstanding tonight.
January 8, 2026 at 11:39 PM
👍🙏🏻
January 8, 2026 at 11:37 PM
hope so but it hasn't been great with them in the team so far. really hope that they come back in top form and we go from there.
January 8, 2026 at 11:25 PM
it could also be a blueprint of how to play in big european knockout aways #Budapest2026
January 8, 2026 at 11:08 PM
i hope you're right and i do think that we've got well better defensively, not including tonight but i would have liked to have seen some green shoots of attacking style by now. that needs to come soon as we can't play this style of football for the rest of the season.
January 8, 2026 at 11:07 PM
spot on. even if they'd had scored i'd have been proud of them tonight.
January 8, 2026 at 11:05 PM
thought he was outstanding tonight.
January 8, 2026 at 11:04 PM
thought it was stonewall myself.
January 8, 2026 at 11:03 PM
only just coming on here now but i expected us to get battered tonight coz thought arsenal would be bouncing after last night's results, think if they'd have won then it was over to be honest. we were great tonight though. made up with all of them.
January 8, 2026 at 11:02 PM
think they were really good tonight. dug in, fought, defended well and were the team most likely second half. been quick to criticise this season, rightly so, but well in the reds tonight.
January 8, 2026 at 11:01 PM
he doesn't represent any of the match going reds i know and see every week. he is an absolute nob head who only does it for clicks.
January 7, 2026 at 10:27 PM
Not real fans, more doing it for clicks! gets at till the end of the season for me and into next one (like rodgers) but we need to see some green shoots by then. I accept making us harder to beat was the first step, really wanted to see some style improvements by now, hopefully that will come soon.
January 7, 2026 at 7:04 AM
look forward to these every week adam, a voice of reason in the madness that is the 25-26 season. will u be joining in with the dancing around the budapest streets at the end of it?
January 5, 2026 at 10:20 PM
it then goes short and they expect a cross so stay deep meaning that there was no chance. optically maybe not great but think if we dive out to block and he loops it in and they scored then we get stick. think u want him shooting from there rather than crossing it.
January 4, 2026 at 6:20 PM
also, we were so deep because we were expecting a long throw. understandable with the way the game is and we were so deep that it meant no one had a hope in getting out. just one of those things. welcome to 25-26.
January 4, 2026 at 6:09 PM
on watching it back, we were deep because we were expecting a long throw and i can't really blame them for expecting one the way the game is now. we were so deep though that no one could have got out in time i think.
January 4, 2026 at 6:08 PM
i thought we were the better side until the wilson goal and carried a threat to be honest. draw a fair result and 99 times out of 100 that goes high and wide. fulham deserved a draw though.
January 4, 2026 at 6:06 PM
agree but would also ask why players aren't fitter by now and able to play more? have we been spoiled by the likes of sadio, bobby and mo who just never missed games? would also say that the planning for the season by hughes etc needs questioning.
