My little corner of the world.
I had to double-check this one!

Probably not as weird, but I get a kick out of the fact Bob Balaban directed a cannibalism movie, and a zombie movie (the latter for Disney, no less)

I assume it was a coincidence, but the resemblance is almost uncanny.

Alexander’s fine in the role (he’s a veteran musical performer), but the look kept me laughing for the wrong reasons.

I kept waiting for an army of ghostly penguins to bring Marley back to the afterlife.

The fact that Doug Ramsey, one of my favorite X-characters and one who, when written correctly, has a heart of gold and limitless empathy for others, is doing this kills me. It feels like someone in the X-office just wants to destroy a great character.

If it’s a fig leaf (probably not) Doug was written wildly out-of-character to accomplish that.

By contrast, Doug (very much in-character) was the moral voice of reason on Krakoa, protesting the Quiet Council’s top-down leadership and unwillingness to listen to the island that gave them paradise.
