I recently watched the 2004 television musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol (on Tubi).
It’s enjoyable enough, with some good songs (Alan Menken wrote the music).
But I had trouble with Jason Alexander’s Marley, who’s design looks very close to Danny DeVito’s Penguin in Batman Returns.

I can't even speak on how angry I am that we've spent years trying to get a biography of an important trans woman picked up by publishers but this ethics- and talent-free incurious child had the entire media and publishing world just throwing money and attention at her

Lots of multinational floats and music and dancing during this Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and wondering if this NBC making a subtle commentary on what makes America great (immigrants) and/or a rebuke of Trumpian cruelty.
