Current state of my Mayhem Ball show: people are trying to sell tickets in the rows in front of & behind ours for absurd prices (we paid less than $700 total for 3 seats + 1 parking space).

Aside from the fact that anyone can get seriously ill from COVID, a key point they are deliberately hiding when removing access is that COVID vaccines reduce transmission. People choose to get vaccinated to protect other people. It is wrong and harmful to take that choice away.

Remember when I lived alone, and I could just shut myself inside for the 2 weeks before a big event rather than mask constantly, run air filters all over the house, eat outside in the cold, and just generally stress out about getting sick?? 😩 Day 4 of this, and I'm tired!!

One of the flights I wanted for my Kylie adventures next month went from $322 to $207, so I booked it. Then it went down to $195. Now it's $119. I've rebooked twice & gotten $88 in credits. I also got $10 from a cash back deal with my credit card. This is insane.

In today's edition of mindblowing things in the Midwest - 3 lanes of the highway I was on were blocked for construction for a short stretch. Condensing 4 lanes down to 1 delayed me by, like, one song's length. That straight-up would've taken an hour to get through in Tampa.

My job started this program where we can give each other points (and it gives points for birthdays & anniversaries), and then we can turn those points into actual gift cards, and anyway, work has now paid for my next 3 months of Spotify 🥳

Was a little underwhelmed by Kylie's setlist yesterday, then decided it really doesn't matter because I get to see her, and I don't have to leave the country to do it, so she can sing whatever she wants, and I'll be thrilled.
Am curious to see if anything changes on Tuesday, though...
