In a proportional system, there could already be many more Albertans like @coreyhogan.ca in parliament to speak forcefully against seperatism.

It's time for @mark-carney.bsky.social and the @liberalca.bsky.social to get on board.

But it doesn't mention in a proportional system, the Liberals would have several more MPs from Alberta, including Calgary.

A top priority of this group needs to be getting the Liberals to back proportional representation.

A reminder: if everyone disillusioned with the system put their energy into winning proportional representation, tackling the big issues like the economy, environment, or healthcare would become a lot easier.

That's the beauty of a truly representative democracy.

Sweden, Denmark, and Finland all use proportional representation to elect their representatives.

If we want to be more like them and less like the United States, let's start there.

The "ambassador" can stuff it when it comes to telling our government how to deliver a statement to the people.
Unlike the US we are a democratic nation.

Instead of costing taxpayers nearly $2 million for a byelection so Poilievre can regain a seat, let’s fix the system that got us here.

Proportional representation means every vote counts—no seat swapping, no backroom deals, no wasted elections.

Regardless of Monday’s outcome, Albertan Liberals and Urban Conservatives will be massively underrepresented under first-past-the-post.

If we want true unity, we need proportional representation—where your vote equals your voice.

Mark Carney said today that, while electoral reform is not a priority, he believes the Prime Minister should be neutral as avenues for reform are explored.

We agree, which is why we believe that the Liberal Party should endorse a National Citizen's Assembly on Electoral Reform.
