17 March 1944 | A Polish woman Helena Płotnicka (b. 1902), prisoner no. 65492 died in #Auschwitz of typhoid. She was a member of resistance active near the isolated camp area and was engaged in helping prisoners of the German camp. She smuggled food and messages for them.
