I feel like we're so stuck in on criticizing the coalition that we never really demand more from Labour. Even as a broadly non-radical guy, I want to see more from Hipkins beyond literally only recycling old policies a year on from the new government forming. #nzpol

We need a capital gains tax and I'm so sick of Labour promising it every few election cycles but never actually following through. If chippy wants to have a lasting legacy, he needs to make it this.

How did David Seymour even get the associate minister of education role? He seems to know absolutely nothing about education.
He doesn't even know that teacher's only days get added on at the end of the year so there's an overall net nuetral effect on year length.
