Crazy that when traveling cross country, the worst thing that could happen to you used to be dysentery.

I have dim sum with 14 relatives tomorrow, most of whom I haven't seen in 10+ years. My mom is going through the people and connections and how is everyone related. My head hurts this is worse than studying for the bar.

happy birthday to me, turning 29 today! When I was a kid, I thought that by now I'd be married, have a successful career, or at least a dog.
Instead, I'm on day 2 of a whole new career and I've still no idea whether I should do a Roth vs trad 401(k). Funny how things work out.

It's starting to sink in that I start working full time again (it's been a while bc of law school) in about two weeks and I don't think I'm ready. Like waking up at 7 or 8 every day? And learning how to manage an email inbox again? And dressing professionally every day?! Sigh.
