It’s important to note that many Autistic ppl have intense genuine exubrient emoting when we *do* naturally emote. (Perhaps triggered by our Special Interest (but not always of course))

Many Autistic ppl grow up learning to mask by emoting more frequently than comes naturally to us …
And this can, as does much masking, have the opposite effect of what is intended. Often making us appear insincere … or ineffably off.
