At @wtevs.bsky.social's BASKETBALL FEELINGS, the Zesty KAT stuff took me right back to my own dumb childhood jock dreams and the ugly homophobia that’s seeping into ever corner of the current fascist moment—even the '24-25 Knicks. www.basketballfeelings.com/p/exits-some...

I was in a hipster coffee shop today when some rude teens burst in chanting “dersh, dersh, dersh!” and flinging Martha’s Vineyard pierogis at me

What's wrong, babe? You barely touched your Gun Flakes
Tommy Gun Flakes (2002-2003): After improbably leading the Steelers to the playoffs, journeyman backup QB and XFL MVP Tommy Maddox, aka "Tommy Gun", received his own cereal--frosted corn flakes, with "profits going to charity"

Star Wars movies are pretty much uniformly the same (bad, but very memorable and important to a segment of 35-55 year olds). Ranking them is pointless [bangs gavel]

It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

It would also give *Ryan Lizza*—who could, in theory, have leaked this info at any point over the last 12-16 months—a role in both RFK’s appointment and the untold preventable deaths. But Lizza either isn’t self aware enough to realize that or is too busy selling Substack subscriptions to care
well, I read it, and the salient, non-gross part is Lizza alleging, midsentence and without elaboration, that Nuzzi ran numerous “catch-and-kill operations” on RFK’s behalf, which would give her a role in both his appointment and the untold preventable deaths he has abetted in office. Cool.

yet another case of U.S. Citizens arrested by immigration agents on serious charges — then the government drops those charges

DEVELOPING: With prosecutors abruptly moving to dismiss all charges, Marimar Martinez’s case is poised to be the latest — and clearly highest-profile — indictment against “Operation Midway Blitz” protesters to disintegrate at the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse.
