Well, I'm back on my Dragon Age obsession, so here's a collection of portraits I made of all my protags a couple months ago!
A close up stylistic portrait of my Warden, Lark Mahariel, from DAO. (he/him) He is framed against a black background, with a desaturated blue shape behind his head. A red arrow juts out and across the portrait of the Wardens neck. The Warden is a Dalish elf, with a simple branch like tattoo on his cheek. He has a scar on the corner of his mouth, and an abundance of freckles. His hair is pinned up and curly, and shaded in black. From the neck down his outfit is also black and mostly melds with the background. A close up portrait of my Hawke, Nate, from DA2. (he/him) Hawke takes up most of the image, but the black background cuts into the right side of the portrait, almost as if its enveloping him. He is older looking, with wavy hair half pinned up into a bun, and wearing armor with a spiked shoulder, which cuts into the black background. A scar runs down through his left eyebrow to his cheek. He is lightly shaded with hatching, and has one bright red streak across his nose, a nod to the canon Hawke in the franchise. A moody piece of my Inquisitor Lavellan from DAI. (he/him) He is sitting on an Inquisition throne, and takes up the majority of the image. The background is all black. The throne is shaded in grey and black, with the symbol of the Inquisition of an eye on the back of the chair. The Inquisitor is shaded in black and white, in a sharp angular style. He is depicted in light armor with a flowing coat. There is a flowery/snake like tattoo curled over his right eye. He is posed casually, one arm leaning on his leg while his hand rests under his chin. He looks contemplative. There are slats of green colour streaking diagonally through the piece from the bottom left to the top right corner. A close up portrait of my Rook, Oscar from DA:V. (he/they/them) The background is all black, with a large chunk of purple cutting through the middle. Rook is imposed over the purple and inked in black. He is an elf, and has similar traits to my Warden, with short curly hair and freckles. He has a snake tattoo on his forehead, and two long, thin scars on his throat. There are six streaks of a vibrant pink on his face and neck, meant to illustrate face paint. He is wearing a sleeveless black shirt which mostly melds into the background. His face is half shaded in a midtone purple. An arrow in the same shade as the face paint is shooting behind his head, but it is broken into parts.
